Who we are
This website belongs to Paul North, a sole trader trading as Synergy Podcast & Content Studio, Ivy Arch Road, Worthing, West Sussex BN14 8BX. Paul is responsible for the personal information described on this page. You can reach him at info@synergypodcaststudio.co.uk.
What we collect and why
- Enquiry forms (contact, studio build and video editing): your name, email address, what you tell us about your project, any link you add, and which page you came from. We use this to reply to you and to quote for the work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
- Podcast Launch Pack form: your email address, so we can let you download the pack. We will not add you to a mailing list. If we ever start one, we will ask you first.
- Bookings and payments happen on our booking site, synergy-podcast-studio.podyx.com, which is run by Podyx. Payments are handled by Stripe through Podyx. We never see your card details. Podyx's own privacy notice explains how it handles your information.
- Emails you send us are kept in our Google Workspace mailbox.
- Visits to this site, only if you accept cookies (see below).
Who handles it for us
- Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions. Netlify is based in the United States, so your details may be stored there, with the safeguards UK data protection law requires for transfers.
- Google provides our email (Google Workspace) and, if you accept cookies, Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement.
- Podyx and Stripe for bookings and payments, as above.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within two years. If you become a client, we keep booking and invoice records for six years, because HMRC requires it. Launch Pack email addresses are deleted within a year.
Cookies
This site only sets advertising and analytics cookies if you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you press Reject, or ignore the banner, no Google code is loaded at all and the site works exactly the same.

We do not use cookies to show you personalised adverts on other websites. Videos on this site are hosted by us, so they set no cookies. Links to Instagram, Facebook and Podyx take you to those sites, which have their own cookie policies.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to limit its use. Email info@synergypodcaststudio.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
